Project-Based Learning

An integral component of the modern educational system is project-based learning, which has been introduced in the "Little Prince" educational complex since 2020. The project-based learning method is a way to achieve learning goals through detailed development of a problem, which must end with a tangible practical result. When implementing educational projects, the learner is directly involved in active cognitive processes: the problem domain is selected, the problem is independently formulated, the necessary information is collected, the solution options are planned, conclusions are drawn, the learner analyzes his own activities and, as a result, acquires new knowledge and life experience. Such activities demonstrate the learner's teamwork abilities in educational work, the willingness to take responsibility for the quality of work. The project-based learning process goes beyond the boundaries of the educational subject and includes the area of interest to the learner. The goal of the learning method is to independently acquire knowledge in the process of solving the preferred problem. Project-based learning enables students to develop cognitive abilities, to use independently acquired knowledge in practice, to navigate in the information space and to critically analyze the information received. The student also develops self-analysis and research abilities, collaborative work and leadership skills, communication skills and, finally, the ability to present their own work. Within the framework of project-based learning in the educational complex, team projects from various fields are implemented in grades 2-11. The 11th grade of the educational complex's high school is considered a year of project-based learning. Below are the details of the projects implemented in the last years of the 11th grade.
